Santee Wong Albiar
Santee Wong Albiar, September 23, 1950 to June 26th, 2016, passed away peacefully at home after years of stoically battling cancer. Santee is remembered for her community service. She was active for the past seven years with The Feeding of the Needy on Thanksgiving. She would go all over the South Bay and obtain turkey donations. It was not uncommon for her to drum up 30 donations of turkeys per year. Santee was also the official counter. She would be at the head of the buffet line and count all those we fed in order to get an accurate account of how many people we were able to serve.
Many people were touched and inspired by Santee’s steadfast concern for others, her gifts of caring and innate goodness, which made so many lives better for having known her. A wonderful friend and mother, Santee is survived by her daughter Angeline and her niece Jennifer and nephew Daniel.
