Giving It All


Sometimes the hardest thing about helping people…is having to ask for help.

Every week I find myself doing the same thing making calls, sending messages, knocking on doors, and reaching out to people.


Not for me.For the students and families in our community who need it the most.

Through A Needy Wilmington, we’ve seen what happens when a community decides to care.


A backpack becomes confidence for a student.A meal box becomes relief for a family.A small donation becomes hope for someone who thought no one noticed.

But the truth is this:

The need never stops.

And this weekend, once again, we are asking our community to step forward and be part of something bigger than ourselves.

Donations collected now will go directly toward programs that support our local students and families from CLAIRE’S Closet, to senior events towards graduation, to the year-round efforts summer, back to school Thanksgiving, Christmas and emergency requests that help our Pilots and their families here in Wilmington.


This isn’t about charity.

It’s about community.It’s about neighbors helping neighbors.It’s about making sure no student or family feels forgotten.

Together we can turn small acts of generosity into something powerful.
