Giving It All
Sometimes the hardest thing about helping people…is having to ask for help. Every week I find myself doing the same thing making calls, sending messages, knocking on doors, and reaching out to people. Not for me.For the students and families in our community who need it the most. Through A Needy Wilmington , we’ve seen what happens when a community decides to care. A backpack becomes confidence for a student.A meal box becomes relief for a family.A small donation becomes hope

We are all born with value but life truly begins when we discover why we are here.
Life gives each of us two powerful moments: the day we are born, and the day we begin to understand why we are here. Purpose doesn’t always arrive all at once it grows through service, struggle, and connection with others. When we choose to use our time, talents, and compassion to uplift our community, our “why” becomes clearer. In that discovery, life moves beyond survival and becomes meaningful, rooted in love, responsibility, and hope for something greater than ourselves.

Something to Think About
Unfair and unrealistic that’s what it feels like when people, companies, and organizations with the power to help keep giving to the same few over and over again, month after month, year after year. Meanwhile, new or smaller groups working hard in the same communities get overlooked.
