Even though many didn’t share this post or show interest, we still made the effort to bring awareness to a real need in our schools

This campaign supports underclassmen who are expected to graduate in 2026. Unfortunately, LAUSD doesn’t sponsor or budget for efforts like this, so we, along with the students, must take it upon ourselves to make it happen.

We’ve supported many campaigns in our community, and this is no different. Whether it’s through the Wilmington Community of Schools or LAUSD South, we always step up to help students reach their goals and fund the activities that make their school experience meaningful.

We come from an underserved community where opportunities like this are often out of reach due to a lack of funding. But the truth is, it doesn’t take a lot to help just the willingness to say yes.

What we’re asking for is simple: treat your donation like spare change you’re setting aside for a rainy day. You won’t miss it, but together, it adds up. If everyone contributes, we’ll not only meet our goal, we’ll exceed it and be able to do even more for our students.

We’re a true nonprofit, not a nonprofit for profit. While some organizations (with great missions) may use up to 70% of funds on salaries and operating costs, we are different. We don’t take salaries. We respond immediately to needs, even outside of office hours, and give everything directly to the cause.

We just ask for your commitment. When we reach out, it’s because there’s a genuine need. We’re not asking often, just when it matters most.

Please believe in our simple, community-driven model. Let’s be the ones who show up when no one else can or will.
