At A Needy Wilmington (ANW), we’ve proven that when grassroots and commitment come together, real solutions happen. Over the years, we’ve:

Built the HOPE Closet, giving students dignity and confidence with snacks, toiletries, undergarments, and hygiene essentials.

Launched seasonal drives like Quarters for Turkeys, Giving Thanks to a Pilot, Adopt a Pilot, and Pennies for Presents ensuring local families have food on the table and gifts under the tree.

Partnered with brands like Bombas for thousands of sock donations, turning a small nonprofit into a trusted community lifeline.

Stood side by side with Phineas Banning High School students and the wider Wilmington Community of Schools and the community, answering needs when other doors were closed.

Expanded our support beyond just “giving” uplifting youth through enrichment, mentorship, and opportunities for a brighter future.

Now, we’re inviting companies, organizations, and local businesses to amplify this mission through Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Fundraising.
